A lot of our Rathdrum families found us while they were expecting, or when a new baby had trouble with sleep, feeding, or colic. Dr. Henry is Webster certified for pregnancy and a PX Docs Pro chiropractor trained to care for babies and kids.
Care starts with INSiGHT scans that show how your child's nervous system is handling stress. Adjustments are gentle and specific, with no twisting or cracking, and we explain everything in plain language.
Our goal is a balanced, well-regulated nervous system: less pain, and a body that functions better day to day.

How far is First Steps from Rathdrum?
Our office is at 8927 N Hess Street, Suite D, in Hayden, about a 15-minute drive from Rathdrum.
Can you check my newborn?
Yes. Newborn checks use very light pressure, appropriate for tiny bodies. We review your baby's birth history and development and work alongside your pediatrician.
Can my whole family be seen at the same visit?
Often, yes. Just let us know when you book and we'll schedule back-to-back visits so one trip covers everyone.
Do you take insurance?
We work with insurance companies, auto insurance, and attorneys. Bring your insurance card and driver's license and we'll run a complimentary benefits check. SoftWave isn't covered by insurance, but HSA and FSA funds can be used.
Do you help kids with sensory, focus, or sleep challenges?
Yes. That's a big part of what we do. We use INSiGHT scans to see how your child's nervous system is handling stress and build a care plan from there. We also run a Perfect Storm workshop for parents.
